Welcome to my FAQ page! My name is Reina Encio and I am a licensed psychotherapist. I understand that seeking therapy can be a big step, and that's why I've created this FAQ page to answer some of the common questions I receive from my clients. Whether you're looking for more information about my services, my approach, or what to expect during therapy, I hope you'll find the answers you're looking for here.   • What is your cancellation policy? 

  • First time cancel the fee will be waived. If the cancellation is within 24 hours, there is no charge. Otherwise there is a $35 charge.

  • Do you accept insurance?

  • We accept self pay. We can provide an invoice for reimbursement with your insurance provider.

  • Can me and my partner connect from different places?

  • Yes, of course.

  • Do you have weekend appoinments? 

  • We work Monday to Friday. No weekends or holidays.

  • If I need to reschedule/cancel my appointment will it be okay?

  • As long as it is 24 hours before the session is scheduled it is okay to reschedule /cancel.

  • Is your practice all inclusive?

  • Yes our services are all inclusive. We welcome all cultural background, sexual orientations and religions.

  • Does it remain confidential what we talk about in a session?

  • Yes, it does remain confidential but we have a duty to report if you share thinking  of harming yourself or harming someone else.

  • Why do people hire a therapist and how do I know it is right for me?

  • People have many reasons to go to therapy , the idea is to improve their quality of life including relationships. You will know that it is right for you from the first session because you will start feeling more complete.

  • If couples are struggling, can sex therapy be a valuable tool to help them master their relationship?

  • Yes, a lot of clients have reported improving their relationship when improving their intimacy.

  • Can therapy also be valuable when dealing with addictions like smoking, alcohol, heroine, etc.?

  • Yes, a lot of clients have mentioned stopping their addiction after one, two or three therapy sessions.

  • Is therapy helpful when you feel anxious or depressed?

  • Yes, therapy can be helpful. A lot of clients report feeling better afterwards.

  • How long does it take to feel the effects of therapy?

  • You will start feeling the effects of therapy from the first session.
